My First Baecation Out the Country
This wasn’t just another vacation.
This was my first baecation… out of the country… for my birthday.
I didn’t realize how much this trip was going to mean to me until I was actually in it.
Getting There: When It Started Feeling Real
We flew out December 22nd, and I don’t know… something about leaving the country with your man just feels different.
Like this isn’t a quick Miami trip.
This is intentional time together.
By the time we got to our Airbnb in Willemstad, I could already tell the pace was going to be slower. Softer. Less pressure.
We weren’t rushing. We weren’t trying to do the most.
We were just… there.

When we got to the Airbnb, I was like okay… yeah this is tea.
It was a whole villa—two bedrooms, two bathrooms so we actually had space. I had my own area to do my makeup and get ready without us being all on top of each other, which I didn’t even realize I needed but I loved it.
But the real moment?
He had the bedroom decorated.
I’m talking flowers everywhere, towel swans on the bed, and MOET.
Like… he really did that.
And I’m not even gonna lie, that’s when it hit me.
This wasn’t just a trip.
He actually put thought into making me feel special.
It wasn’t over the top in a flashy way it was intentional. And that meant more than anything.
From that moment, I already knew the trip was gonna be different.

The first night, we went to Cascade Rooftop, tried a few appetizers, and I had my first pornstar martini.
They also had hookah so that was a plus and a beautiful rooftop with a pool.

Doing Everything… But Still Taking It Slow
We had plans, don’t get me wrong.
ATV riding.
A liquor tasting at the Chobolobo distillery.
Walking across the Queen Emma Bridge.
Shopping in Punda.
Trying different food spots.
Stop at POPCULTR for coffee and smoothies just trust me.
But nothing felt rushed.
Even when we were out exploring, it still felt like we were moving at our own pace.
And I think that’s what made the trip feel so good.

My Birthday in Curaçao 🤍
December 24th.
I woke up in another country, with someone I love, and just felt… grateful.
We popped champagne, went into the city, did a perfume-making experience, got massages, and just spent the day pouring into ourselves.
That night, we had dinner at Saint Tropez, right by the water.
And I remember sitting there thinking like…
wow, this is really my life right now.
No stress.
No pressure.
Just peace.
Christmas Day: The Moment I’ll Never Forget
If I had to pick one day that really stayed with me, it would be December 25th.
We woke up early and went beach hopping.
Kokomo Beach.
Playa Grandi — where we swam with sea turtles.
Grote Knip.
Each beach felt different, but all of them felt unreal.
The water was clear in a way that pictures don’t even capture correctly.
And again, it wasn’t just about where we were… it was how I felt.
Calm.
Happy.
Connected.
Later that evening, we did a sunset cruise.
Book with All Boats Charter!
And that moment… being on the water, watching the sun go down, music playing, just being there together…
That’s one of those memories I know I’ll hold onto for a long time.

Real Talk
Not everything was perfect.
We had to plan.
Figure out driving in a different country.
Make reservations.
Stay on top of timing.
But even that felt like part of the experience.
It taught me that traveling with someone isn’t just about the highlight moments it’s about how you move through everything together.
And I think we did that really well.

What This Trip Taught Me
This trip reminded me that I don’t need chaos to feel alive.
I don’t need constant movement or noise.
Sometimes the best moments come from slowing down… being present… and sharing space with someone who feels like peace.
Curaçao was a dream for me.
If You’re Thinking About Taking a Baecation…
Do it.
But don’t just focus on the itinerary.
Don’t stress about doing everything.
Focus on how you want to feel.
Because for me, this trip wasn’t about checking things off a list.
It was about feeling loved, present, and at peace.
And honestly… that’s what made it unforgettable.
